Leave a Legacy

Consider joining the United Way of San Diego County Legacy Society, which acknowledges the vision of individuals who have provided for the future of San Diego communities by making a Legacy gift. Legacy gifts include all planned gifts and outright gifts of $100,000 or more to endowment. Each one is important in forging a future of possibilities for San Diego.

Example of Legacy Gifts:

• Bequest through your will or living trust
• Gifts that produce income for you and your loved ones such as charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities and pooled income funds.
• Naming United Way of San Diego as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, life insurance policy, or investment account.
• Outright gifts of appreciated securities or cash of $100,000 or more to United Way of San Diego’s endowment fund that will distribute income in perpetuity for generations of San Diegans.
